Livingstone has the oldest and largest museum, which has been in existence since 1934.The Livingstone museum, formerly David Livingstone memorial museum and Rhodes Livingstone is the largest and oldest museum in Zambia, located in town of Livingstone at address, Plot 567 Mosi-O-Tunya road Livingstone (Zambia). This is a wonderful place where one can learn about kingdoms/chiefdoms that around the country. Upon visiting this place, you can see the remains of the royal burials, few tools that the people used in the past for hunting and fishing.

The museum is divided into sections covering Archeology, history, Ethnography and natural history. Highlights include it’s collection of Original David Livingstone memorial (including signed letters) tribal artefacts (from bark cloth to witchcraft exhibits)a life-sized model of an African village, taxidermy displays and coverage of modern-day Zambian history. The entrance fee is just (kwacha)K10 for locals and $5 for international tourists. To my locals and international fans and followers make a date as family and individuals to visit this wonderful place.
