Tourism is more about unique experiences. That is exactly what I enjoyed at Baobab camp. This is one of Livingstone’s most serenity, calm, homely, but simply memorable and unique.
Baobab cottage is a brand-new place located halfway between the mighty Victoria falls and the city center. It is set in a wilderness atmosphere with a real touch of class, in a very authentic undisturbed African bush setting with a beautiful Dam surrounded by hills.
The property is within a walking distance from the United Air Charter that offers tour information and packages. I checked into Baobab Cottage after enjoying a 30-minute helicopter ride over the Victoria falls courtesy of United Air Charters.
You can enjoy breakfast and lunch at the Baobab Cafe which is just a short walk from the cottage. You have the option to self-cater whether it’s on an outside fire or indoors. You can also fish and watch the sunset. It is a perfect place for those of us who enjoy silence, class, and wilderness all in one.
Rates here range from $40 to $80 per night per room.
If you would like to visit Botswana and or Zimbabwe, from the information center at the establishment they can organize a Kaza Visa for only $50 on a multiple entry basis.
